Cellular activated carbon can be widely used in a variety of gas purification equipment and exhaust gas treatment works, practice has proved that the purification effect is better than ordinary. The pollutants that can be removed by cellular activated carbon in different degrees are: nitrogen oxides, carbon tetrachloride, chlorine, benzene, dialdehyde, acetone, ethanol, ethyl ether, methanol, acetic acid, ethyl ester, styrene, phosgene, malodorous gases and other acidic and alkaline gases.
Cellular activated carbon has a large specific surface area, small pore resistance, developed microporous, high adsorption capacity, long service life and other characteristics, commonly used in air pollution control. Cellular activated carbon adsorption method is chosen, that is, the waste gas and porous activated carbon have a large surface contact, the pollutants in the waste gas are adsorbed and decomposed, so as to play a purifying role.
