1、Hazardous waste storage pollution control standards (GB 18597-2023 instead of GB 18597-2001)

In order to implement the "People's Republic of China Environmental Protection Law", "People's Republic of China Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law" and other laws and regulations, prevention and control of environmental pollution, to improve the quality of the ecological environment, standardize the environmental management of hazardous waste storage, the development of this standard. This standard specifies the general requirements of hazardous waste storage pollution control, storage facility location and pollution control requirements, containers and packaging pollution control requirements, storage process pollution control requirements, as well as the discharge of pollutants, environmental monitoring, environmental emergency response, implementation and supervision of environmental management requirements. This standard was first published in 2001, this is the first revision. This standard is organized and developed by the Department of Solid Waste and Chemicals and the Department of Regulations and Standards of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. This standard was approved on January 20, 2023 by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. This standard shall be implemented from July 1, 2023 onwards. Since the date of implementation of this standard, "hazardous waste storage pollution control standards" (GB 18597-2001) is abolished.

2、 Technical specification for hazardous waste identification marking (HJ 1276-2022)

In order to implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" "Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and other laws and regulations, to prevent and control environmental pollution, improve the quality of the ecological environment, and standardize the hazardous waste identification marking set up, the development of this standard. This standard specifies the generation, collection, storage, utilization, disposal of hazardous waste units need to set up the classification of hazardous waste identification signs, content requirements, setup requirements and production methods. Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix, appendix B is an informative appendix. This standard is issued for the first time. This standard from July 1, 2023 shall come into force.

3, "environmental protection graphic symbols - solid waste storage (disposal) site" (GB 15562.2-1995) change order

In order to implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes", to prevent and control environmental pollution and to improve the quality of the ecological environment, we hereby approve the "Graphic Symbol of Environmental Protection - Solid Waste Storage (Disposal) Yard" (GB 15562.2-1995) revision list, and it is jointly issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration. Jointly issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the State Administration of Market Supervision. According to the relevant legal provisions, the above standard revision order has the effect of mandatory implementation. Modification of this standard since July 1, 2023 shall come into force.

4、Feasible Technical Guidelines for Prevention and Control of Water Pollution in the Electronics Industry (HJ 1298-2023)

In order to implement the "People's Republic of China Environmental Protection Law" "People's Republic of China Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law" and other laws, prevention and control of environmental pollution, improve the quality of the ecological environment, and promote the prevention and control of water pollution in the electronics industry technology progress, the development of this standard. This standard puts forward the electronic industry water pollution prevention and control technology. In addition to the water pollution prevention and control technology listed in this standard, other electronic industrial water pollution prevention and control technology to achieve stable discharge of water pollutants, can also be used as a reference for the selection of enterprise technology. Appendix A of this standard for informative appendix. This standard is issued for the first time. This standard shall be implemented from July 1, 2023 onwards.

5、Technical Specification for Quality Verification of Sewage Discharge License (HJ 1299-2023)

Regulations on Administration of Sewage Discharge Permits" and other laws and regulations, improve the technical support system for sewage discharge permits, guide the quality verification of sewage discharge permits, and formulate this standard. This standard specifies the way to carry out quality verification of sewage licenses and requirements, verification of preparatory work and the main verification content. Appendix A to Appendix C of this standard is an informative appendix. This standard is issued for the first time. This standard from July 1, 2023 onwards.

6, "ecological and environmental administrative penalties" (Ministry Decree No. 30)

In order to regulate the implementation of ecological and environmental administrative penalties, supervise and guarantee the competent ecological and environmental authorities to implement administrative penalties in accordance with the law, safeguard public interests and social order, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons or other organizations, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties, Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Compulsory Measures, Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection, and other laws and administrative regulations. These Measures have been considered and adopted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on April 13, 2023 at the 1st Ministerial Meeting of 2023, and shall come into force on July 1, 2023.

Announcement on Matters Relating to the Implementation of National VI Emission Standard for Automobiles (Announcement No. 14 of 2023)

Starting from July 1, 2023, the National VI Emission Standard Stage 6b will be fully implemented nationwide, and the production, import and sale of vehicles that do not comply with the National VI Emission Standard Stage 6b will be prohibited. The production date is based on the vehicle manufacturing date of the motor vehicle certificate of conformity, and the electronic information of the certificate of conformity should be uploaded before 0:00 on July 1, 2023; the import date is based on the date of arrival of the goods import certificate endorsement; and the sales date is based on the date of the motor vehicle sales invoice.

For some of the actual driving pollutant emissions test (i.e., RDE test) report results for "only monitoring" and other light-duty vehicles National VI b models, to give half a year sales transition period, allowing sales until December 31, 2023.

Automobile manufacturers and importers, as the main body responsible for environmental protection and production consistency management, shall, in accordance with the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Air Pollution" and other relevant regulations, disclose information on the emission inspection and pollution control technology of the models of vehicles before they leave the factory or enter the country, so as to ensure that the vehicles actually produced and imported are in compliance with the requirements. The relevant certification bodies shall issue mandatory product certification based on the National VI emission standard stage 6b.

8, "Jiangsu Province Work Safety Regulations

In order to strengthen work safety, prevent and reduce production safety accidents, protect people's lives and property safety, and promote high-quality economic and social development, according to the "People's Republic of China Work Safety Law" and other laws and administrative regulations, combined with the actual situation in this province, the formulation of this regulation.
